Title Information

You can enter vehicle title information under the Title Information tab.

The Primary Owner section will be filled in with the primary buyer's information.

If you checked the box marked Co-Title under the Customer Information tab, the co-buyer information will be filled in as the second owner.

If you have both a primary and secondary owner listed but would like the title information to reflect the co-buyer as the primary owner and the buyer as the secondary owner, click the Swap Owners button. This will swap the buyer and co-buyer information but only for the purposes of listing the owners on the title. Note: This will not make the co-buyer the primary buyer for the whole deal.

The software ensures that the title information will reflect the same information entered under the Customer Information tab. This helps to reduce error when filling out the title. The software accomplishes this by disabling your ability to type over the title information. You may notice that the owner information is "grayed-out" and cannot be edited. If you would like to overwrite the title information for either owner, you must click in the check box marked Override Title Information. If this box is checked, the grayed-out information will now become active, and you will be able to edit the information as necessary.
