Setting Up A Licensed System

When you purchase your initial software license from Friday Systems, Inc., you will be instructed on how to access the software to clear the sample data. After the sample data has been cleard, the software will display the Getting Started window . This screen displays a list of setup information screens that should be filled out before you start entering inventory or processing deals. Click on each labeled button, moving from top to bottom, to access that part of the program and set up your initial data.

You will initially set up the following:

• Dealership information
• Default report printer
• Financing information
• Credit insurance information
• State fee information
• Extended warranty information
• Default forms printer

The parts of the program which are accessed through the Getting Started window may also be brought up by clicking the File menu (for the default forms and report printers) or by clicking the Maintenance menu at the top of the screen and making the appropriate selection from the pull-down menu.
