The Rollback button allows you to adjust certain deal information in order to achieve a desired payment or profit margin. For example, you can opt to calculate a new vehicle selling price based on what a buyer would want to pay as a monthly payment.

Clicking on the Rollback button displays the Rollback window. Click on the down arrow in the box in the middle of the window to access a pull-down menu and select the bit of information you wish to adjust.
For example, you may wish to change the purchase price of a vehicle to achieve a desired mothly payment.

Next, enter the desired information into the field at the top of the window. Click the Calcuate button to see the changes that would need to be made.
For example, the vehicle in the deal you are currently processing has a selling price of $4,100.00 and the bi-weekly payment is calculated by software to be $78.86 per bi-week. Your buyer wishes to pay no more than $75.00 per month. You would enter 75 into the Desired Montly Payment field and click the Calculate button. The software will show you what the new selling price would be in order to achieve this new bi-weekly payment.

Once you have made the calculation, you can either run another calculation using the same or other criteria, click the Cancel button to cancel out of the calculation with no changes made to the deal, or click the Accept button to accept the new calculation and have the software automatically update the current deal's information to reflect the change.
When you return to continue processing your deal under the Process Deal tab, the data under the Payment Information section will be updated with your new calculated value.
