Remote Dealerships

If you have purchased the optional Reconciliation package from Friday Systems, Inc., your software will be able to share data with other Friday Systems, Inc.'s programs through a server-based reconciliation process. With the software, you can have up to four (4) different lots share and display inventory and deal data. Each lot will be listed under the File menu at the top of the screen. The software will keep the data separated by dealership. This will enable you to sell a vehicle from one lot but complete the deal and paperwork at a second lot.

In order to use this functionality, you will need to set the information regarding remote dealership locations using other Friday Systems, Inc. software. The information you need will be provided to you by the staff at Friday Systems, Inc.

Local Station Name -- Enter the local name of your lot as assigned by Friday Systems, Inc.

Number of Days History to Send -- Enter the number of days of past deal history to reconcile each time your system connects to Friday Systems, Inc.'s servers. Usually, a value of 5 or 7 is appropriate, especially if you do not perform reconciliations daily.

Remote Station #n Name -- Enter the names of up to three (3) additional lots with whose software your system will reconcile data. The names will be provided to you by Friday Systems, Inc.

Choose Dealer By Address -- If this option is unchecked, you will be able to choose which lot's data you wish to view by selecting the remote lot by dealership name. If this option is checked, you will be able to select a lot by its city or town instead of by name.
