Maintaining the Options List

The software keeps separate option lists for each type of vehicle -- cars, trucks, vans, etc. To add options to any of these lists, click on the Maintenance menu and select Vehicle Options List from the drop-down menu.

The Option Maintenance window is displayed. From the pull-down menu at the top, choose the type of vehicle whose options list you wish to update.

Once you have chosen the vehicle type, the software will present you with the options list for that vehicle type. This list is not necessarily in alphabetical order; however, this list will be in alphabetical order when it is displayed within the Inventory Detail screen.

You can remove any option by clicking your selection in the options list and then clicking the Delete Option button. You can continue to do this until you have deleted all unnecessary options. Note: once you click the Delete Option button, the deleted option is gone from the software's memory! If you want to display this option again, you must go through the steps of adding a new option.

You can also add any option by clicking the Add Option button. This will add a new entry line to the Options List. You can type your new option into this new entry line, and the new option will show up in the options list on the Inventory Detail screen. You can continue to do this until you have added all necessary options.
