On Hold Info Tab
Under the On Hold
Info tab, you can place a vehicle on hold and, in effect,
lock that vehicle from being sold by mistake. If a salesperson
tries to sell a vehicle placed on hold, the software will warn them
that the vehicle is on hold.
To place a vehicle on hold, check the Place Vehicle On
Hold checkbox and fill in the requested demographic
information. To remove a hold on a vehicle, click the
Remove Hold button. Save the vehicle once you have
completed your changes.
Note: Vehicles placed on hold will appear with
red text in the Inventory List
screen.
