Loading A Vehicle

At any time you may view and edit a specific vehicle's data by loading that vehicle from the database. There are two ways to load a vehicle:

• Loading from the Inventory Detail screen.
• Loading from the Inventory List screen .

Loading Vehicles From The Inventory Details Screen

To load a vehicle from the Inventory Details screen, click the Load button at the bottom left of the window.

The software will display the Load Stock Number window. You may also view the Load Stock Number window by clicking the File menu and selecting the Load Vehicle option from the pull-down menu.

You can use the filter boxes at the top of the Load Stock Number window to quickly locate a specific vehicle by stock number, year, make, model, VIN, date in stock, or date sold (if the vehicle was sold). As you type into these filter boxes, the vehicle listing will begin to narrow down and display only vehicles which match your filter criteria.

By default, the vehicle listing presented to you shows only available units. If you wish to be able to select from both available and sold units, check the Include Sold Units check box at the top of the window.

Click to select a vehicle's listing, and then click the Load Vehicle button to bring this vehicle onto the screen.

Loading Vehicles From The Inventory List Screen

To load a vehicle from the Inventory List screen , simply find the desired vehicle in the list and double-click that vehicle's listing. The vehicle will automatically be loaded into the Inventory Detail screen for you.
