Standard Filter

The standard filter is located at the bottom of the Inventory List screen. This filter allows you to narrow the view of your inventory list by model year range, make, model, and sold and/or current status so that you can easily view and find specific vehicles. Any combination of these four filter criteria may be applied.

Beginning and ending years must be entered using the same format for both -- either by entering the four digit year (2001,2002, etc.) or the last two digits of the year (01,02, etc.). The years must be in order from oldest to newest. To set the filter to show vehicles from only one year, type the same year in both boxes.

Sold and/or currently for sale options may also be applied to the filter. Click one of the three buttons corresponding to your choice. If you are choosing sold vehicles, you must enter a beginning and ending date.. Clicking on the down arrow of the date entry box activates that field and displays a pop-up, monthly calendar. Clicking on the desired date on the calendar will automatically fill in the selected date.

When you have entered all of your desired filter criteria, click the Apply Filter button. The listings on the screen will be narrowed down to show only the items which match your filter criteria.  A Filter On box will also be displayed. To turn off your filter, click the Clear Filter button.

Note: when the Filter On box is displayed, your inventory is being filtered by the criteria that you have entered. This box acts as a visual marker to let you know a filter is currently being applied. If you notice that your screen does not display all of the data you expect, you may want to check and see if this box is being displayed.

There are other filter criteria boxes available. They are hidden off-screen so as not to take up too much screen space. To view these other criteria boxes, click the Expanded button. The Expanded button will then change to a Standard button. To again hide these other criteria boxes, click the Standard button to go back to the standard filter.
