Excluding Vehicles From Web Sites

If you are uploading your data to Friday Systems, Inc.'s servers for advertising on web sites, you may want to exclude certain vehicles from advertising. You have the option of totally excluding a vehicle from being uploaded to Friday Systems, Inc.'s servers or simply excluding a vehicle from being listed on certain web sites. You use the options above the picture display to determine how a vehicle will be excluded from uploads or web sites (if you choose to use this feature at all).

Excluding A Vehicle From All Uploads

If you wish to exclude a specific vehicle from any and all uploads and website advertising, simply check the box labeled Do Not Send To Web Sites and save your changes. This vehicle will now be excluded from all subsequent inventory uploads to Friday Systems, Inc.'s servers.

Excluding A Vehicle From Certain Web Sites

The software also allows you to exclude a vehicle from certain web sites. This feature becomes necessary if you have purchased an advertising plan with a large web site advertising agency, and your plan limits you to a certain number of vehicles.

For example, you may have 40 vehicles in your inventory, but your advertising plan will only allow you to show 30 vehicles. To ensure you get the vehicles you want to display onto the web site, you must mark the 10 vehicles you do not want do show as being excluded. When you upload the inventory to Friday Systems, Inc.'s servers, the 10 vehicles you wish to exclude will not be part of the data transfer to your advertising site.

To exclude a vehicle from certain sites, click the Excluded Feeds button. The area which normally displays a vehicle picture will now display a listing of major advertising sites. Check off the boxes next to the sites from which you wish to exclude a vehicle's listing. The button will also change to a Display Images button.

Once you have selected the sites from which you will exclude this vehicle, save your changes. Click the Display Images button to once again view the vehicle's pictures.
