Deleting a Deal

If you have inadvertantly saved a deal in your database or simply wish to get rid of a deal, you may permanently delete a deal using the delete function of the software.

Note: When you delete a deal from the database, that deal's information will be permanently removed. If you wish to see this deal in the database again, you must re-enter all of the deal information as if you were processing a new deal.

To delete a deal from the database, click on the File menu and select Delete Deal from the pull-down menu. The software will display the Delete Deal window which lists the deals you can delete.

Click on a deal's listing to highlight it and then click the Delete button at the bottom-left of the window. You will be asked to confirm you deletion. The deal will be removed from the database. If you have a sold vehicle associated with this deal, the software will ask if you wish to restock the vehicle. Click the Yes button to put the vehicle back into your active inventory. Click the No button to leave the vehicle as being marked sold.
