Modifying Insurance Types

Different states will allow different types of credit insurance. A complete listing of insurance types available for sale in your area can be found by clicking on the Edit Types button. This will bring up the Modify Insurance Types window.

The listing on the left-hand side of the Modify Insurance Types screen shows all available credit insurance types in your area. If you would like your new credit insurance company to be able to offer a certain type of insurance to your customers, you need to add that insurance type to the list of currently used types. This list is on the right-hand side of the window.

To move a credit type from the available type listing and into the currently used listing, simply highlight the available type you want and click the right-arrow button to move it over to the right and under the currently used listing. You may also remove types from the currently used listing in a similar manner by using the left-arrow button.

Once you have listed all of the currently used insurance types for your new credit insurance company, click the Save button to close the window.

The credit insurance types you selected to be currently used will now be available in the Credit Insurance Information window. To select a specific type, click the down arrow in the Insurance Type box. The software will display a pull-down menu listing your selected insurance types. Select the appropriate type.

Once you have selected your insurance type, you can fill in the percentages and dollar amounts for that insurance type at the bottom of the window.
