Calculating Salesperson
Commissions
The software can calculate an amount
of commission to pay your sales staff on each deal from information
you enter into the section labeled Commissions on
Sale.

For each salesperson, select the amount from which a commission
will be calculated. You can use the drop-down box to calculate a
commission on the Front
End Profit, the Back End Profit, or the
Gross Profit.
You also have the option of selecting None if you wish to
enter a straight dollar amount instead ofletting the software
calculate a percentage.
Once you have selected the amount on which you want to calculate
a commission, enter the percentage of commission you wish to pay
your salesperson in the box next to the salesperson's name. The
software will automatically calculate a dollar amount for you. If
you have selected None in the step above, you may enter a
dollar amount into the box representing the amount of commission
paid instead of letting the software calculate a percentage.
You can view the amount of commissions paid to your sales staff
by viewing the Salesman Commissions report from the Reports menu at the
top of the screen.
