Adding Pictures

You may optionally attach up to 25 digital photographs to each vehicle for identification purposes and Internet downloads. To do this you must first take a picture with a digital camera or scan a picture using a scanner. This picture must be made available in a folder that can be accessed from your computer. Friday Systems, Inc. highly recommends buying a digital camera with a floppy drive or memory card that can be read from a memory card reader attached to your PC. This avoids having to use complicating third party download software.

To add a photograph you have already electronically stored, you first click the Attach button.

A window will appear allowing you to locate your picure. In the left-hand frame of this window, navigate through your folders to find the picture file you want to attach. Highlighting a folder will display that folder's picture files in the center frame. Click on a specific picture file in the center frame to display a preview of the image in the right-hand frame.

The software stores pictures in a standard 4:3 width-to-height ratio. Set your standard image width by selecting the appropriate radio button (filling in the circles) below the vehicle picture preview. Once you have your picture located the proper size selected, click the OK button.

Your picture will now be associated with this vehicle listing and will appear in the Inventory Detail window. It will also be available for display on the Internet when you upload your inventory to Friday Systems, Inc.'s online database.
