Accounting Menu

Clicking on Accounting in the menu bar causes the Accounting pull-down menu to appear. You may use the options in this menu to set up the software to interface with the QuickBooks^TM accounting software.

Accounting List -- Displays a screen in which you can modify the software's internal list of NIADA-recommended accounts. Note: This internal list is pre-programmed by Friday Systems, Inc. and is a listing of accounts recommended by the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA). You should not need to modify this list, and it is recommended that you do not modify this list without the assistance of Friday Systems, Inc. support staff.

Accounting Interface -- Allows you to establish a connection to your QuickBooks software, set up a translation of the software's internal accounts to your QuickBooks accounts, and posts deal information from the software into the QuickBooks general ledger.
